We are a family business and all of us are passionate about Indian food, having first been introduced to the marvellous flavours of curried dishes in the fifties by my father who discovered wonderful spices whilst travelling in North Africa with the Eighth Army. Our love for this scintillating food continued when the first restaurants were opened in The East End of London in the early sixties. This passion has grown and been passed onto our daughters who enjoyed many years of sampling real Indian food in the Balti capital of Birmingham our granddaughter and grandson both visited Indian restaurants within the first few weeks of being born and at three years of age both have a love for this varied and flavoursome cuisine. Are we experts? No but we know good quality and flavours, our range of products therefore will never be huge because we would not offer any foods that we do not enjoy ourselves, we endeavour to ensure that our mixes contain only natural ingredients contain no chemical preservatives, no gluten, no msg and no artificial colouring.
